Ferrets

To be totally honest about the feelings that a person might have about raising ferrets as pets, one must be truly honest with themselves as to how much patience they really have .  Not only are ferrets mischievous, quick, inquisitive, down right nosy, diggers, climbers, jumpers, and many other attributes that go along with ferrets,  they are also cute. Raising ferrets is not at all complicated but it does require time spent playing with them and time for cleaning and feeding one or a dozen.

When they play, they wrestle with one another (if more than one), or they will wrestle with you, your hand, your foot or whatever else might be available.  They get very excited and start doing the Ferret war dance.  Seeing this dance is worth the time it takes to get them in a playful mood.  Most of the time they are running here and running there checking out their surroundings.  They always have to know what is new or if anything has changed since the last time they visited the same place or area.

After a hard half an hour of snooping, running, wrestling and pooping, they are usually ready for a nap.  They will find a comfy lil  corner to curl up in especially if there is something to crawl under or hide behind. There they will curl up in a ball and go to sleep for an undetermined amount of time.

If you are interested in fun and games and laughter consider raising a Ferret as a pet of your own.  One is fun, but two or more are laughs galore!
